Listings That Help You Ask the Right Questions

When looking for a flat, house or other space, the first photo isn't everything. Accessibility, layout, condition and the terms of sale or rental all matter. This page explains how we check and describe listings; we'll confirm the current availability of specific properties on request. If you have a preferred area or budget, tell us at the outset. That will help us distinguish which options are worth viewing in person and which are unlikely to suit you.

Three Things to Check Before Booking a Viewing

Exact Location

Ask about the street, transport links and the practical distance from places you visit regularly. Two properties in the same district may still mean very different daily routines.

Condition of the Property

Find out what has been renovated, what remains original and which details need checking in person or in the documents. Photos may not show everything that matters.

Terms of the Agreement

Whether buying or renting, clarify dates, furnishings and the full range of costs in advance. If an answer isn't available yet, we'll let you know.

A Viewing Should Answer Your Questions

You can send us a list of things to check before we meet. At the viewing, we can focus on specific questions: how the layout works, what's included and which documents are available. If we can't confirm something on site, we'll flag it for follow-up. Afterwards, you'll have time to compare the property with other options. We won't ask you to decide on the spot just because you've made time for a visit.
