Renting Out a Property

Who Would You Like to Rent Your Property To?

Clear terms and a well-prepared viewing help both sides see whether a rental is right for them.

Set the Terms Before Advertising

Before preparing the listing, we'll review the layout, furnishings and condition. We'll also clarify the rent you're asking, advance payments, availability and any rules you want prospective tenants to know. The description will distinguish confirmed details from those still to be checked. That lets people assess the basic terms before arranging a viewing. If this is your first time renting out a property, we'll explain each step without assuming you know estate agency terminology.

From Questions to an In-Person Viewing

A Clear Listing

The description will set out the property's features and known rental terms. We'll use precise, cautious wording for furnishings or costs that have not yet been confirmed.

Agreed Viewing Times

We plan viewings around the property's availability and your schedule. We'll give prospective tenants the basic information beforehand so the meeting has a clear purpose.

An Overview of Interest

We'll pass on questions and feedback from viewings. The final choice of tenant, the extent of any checks and acceptance of the terms remain yours.

Check the Essentials Before Signing

When renting out a property, it's worth taking time to review what will go into the contract and handover record. Meter readings, an inventory, payment due dates and how to report faults can help prevent misunderstandings later. We'll help you prepare a list of points to settle before handing over the property. We cannot, however, confirm how a tenant will behave in future or replace an individual legal review of the contract. If you need legal advice, consult a lawyer.
